I'm the Director of Mission Systems at Planet. The Mission Systems team develops Mission Control systems for operating, scheduling, and tasking imaging satellites in low Earth orbit; as well as infrastructure and tools for telemetry and data analysis.

I got my M.S. in software engineering at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley, where my area of study was big data, machine learning, and information and influence propagation.

Prior to my graduate studies, I focused on location based services, geosocial networking, iOS programming, and running spatial databases at VisioThink Inc in İstanbul. My B.S. is in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabancı University in İstanbul.
